About the Event

In the time of patriarchy women were divided and alone with their problems, blaming themselves for many things, when in fact the problem was much wider, in the collective patterns that were dysfunctional. By sharing openly with each other we can shed light to all these issues and finally heal and let go of them.

By coming together, in the spirit of love and kindness, sisterhood and nurturing compassion for each other and ourselves, we can truly uplift the collective feminine and help the humanity to heal.

Let me introduce to you Siri Karta Kaur:

Siri Karta Kaur discovered Kundalini Yoga as a 16 year old girl in Finland in the late 1990's. She fell in love with the teachings straight away and knew that this was her path.

However, she wasn't ready for this level of a serious spiritual path and responsibility yet, so she decided to experiment with life a bit more and mainly did other things for ten years, like moved abroad, travelled the world, got married and had children. She did reiki for ten years, too.

She returned to Kundalini Yoga as a divorced 25 year old young mother. And this time with a serious intention and commitment to the teachings, yogic life style and discipline.

She was unwell and she was determined to heal herself without any outside support, with Kundalini Yoga and Sikh teachings only. And that worked. She went through an intense healing process for a few years, with Kundalini Yoga, the yogic life style, Sikh teachings, diet and more.

She went through a profound transformation, moving through different states of mind, from disharmony into harmony. She experienced on a deep level how the mind, the body and the Kundalini Yoga techniques work together. What had seemed like a curse in the beginning turned out to be a wonderful blessing. The dharma was found in the karma.

In Finland she founded the first Kundalini Yoga school in the country, Ek Ong Kaar. Nowadays she teaches and works at Joy Yoga in London. She's organized two teacher trainings in Finland. She's taught for over ten years and trained with many skillful teachers from all around the world and she's also a Sat Nam Rasayan practitioner. She's specialised in many topics like pregnancy yoga, child birth, parenthood and relationships, sexuality, addiction recovery and female empowerment just to mention a few. But the most important for her is the love for Kundalini Yoga and Yogi Bhajan and the deep gratitude for having the blessing to keep practising, sharing and serving these teachings from decade to decade.
