Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
Kundalini Yoga (KY) is known as the yoga of awareness and is considered by some to be mother of all yogas. It is a complete yoga system including:
- Kriyas (exercises)
- Mantras (chanting)
- Mudras (hand positions)
- Pranayama (breath work)
The beauty of KY is that it allows you, from day one, to practice at your chosen level of intensity without any prior experience or skill. KY is a very powerful tool with some students seeing profound changes after just a few classes.
KY classes draw from a huge range of kriyas, each designed to strengthen a particular aspect of the mind and body. Different kriyas will target the glandular, immune, lymphatic and nervous systems. KY has been shown to be effective in treating depression, anxiety and physical pain.
